First things first - this gallery is a bit older and I forget to update it.  You can view a more frequently updated gallery here.

I am one of those people who was born with a pencil in my hand; I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. I was the quiet kid (unless I knew you well, then I was the loud annoying obnoxious kid) who would sit in the back of the classroom and doodle instead of take notes. ;} I have only seriously started to apply myself at art starting with the end of my senior year in high school. I began as an affecionado for the colored pencil medium, working with little else, save graphite pencils. Then I moved onto digital. At first, like with any other media, I was absolutely horrible at digital, but then a few months into it, I finally started showing improvement. I think 'In the Dark' is the very first decent piece I ever produced in Photoshop. (I don't even know if that one's still in my gallery or not.)

Digital media slowly became my primary and preferred media, as it is quicker for me that colored pencils, and much less messy. ;} Almost all of the pieces in this gallery are digital, and chances are if it looks painted, it is digitally painted. The only exceptions are a few graphite and colored pencil pieces. The graphite section is now growing since I was for a time without my computer, but it's back now!  I've also been working in gouache recently.

Almost all of the pieces in this gallery were painted in Adobe Photoshop or Painter Classic, and recently I've mostly been using Painter. I use a 12x18 Wacom tablet, SD series, to paint. It's a very old tablet, about 10 or 12 years old, I think, but it still works wonderfully. Woot!

I think that's it for now, but I'll add more later I'm sure. For now, feel free to go visit these artists and writers, who have inspired me in one way or another:

Stephanie Pui-Mun Law
Scott Ruggels
Ursula Vernon
Socar Myles
Jennifer Miller
Ashley E. Gaia

Also I now have prints available here!

I feel like nobody knows griffins quite like you do. You have a complete mastery of their form, down to the tiniest lithe detail.
